THE SHIPYARD has plenty of room for resting, too. Two of its bedrooms are furnished with a queen-sized bed in each room, and the other two bedrooms have two double beds in each of them.

In between movies, sleeping, and playing in the surf, relax in oceanside rockers on the covered porch, enjoying Oak Island's beautiful marine view. Keep in touch with those waves with your direct access to the beach.

THE SHIPYARD's location on the island lets you get where you want in no time, whether you head out for an evening meal at the west-end marina, run over to the butterfly park adjacent to the canal on 56th Street, or seek out the maritime observation deck at Caswell Beach. Also, the bridge taking you to historic Southport or the nightlife of Wilmington offers an easy access, as well.
